The Summer of Andrew

Two days ago I kicked off the Summer of Andrew™ with a cool trip to Six Flags. While I do have two days of finals left, I feel it’s a good starting event for what I’m going to make my best summer ever. Last summer, I was kinda ho-hum and laid back throughout it, only really getting excited about it during August after my first trip to the beach in 10 years.

So how will I accomplish this best summer ever? I have a list…

  • Bike-riding
  • Beach-going
  • Fishing
  • Driving
  • Events: Six Flags (May 14th), Google I/O (May 19th-20th), E3 2010 (June 15th-17th)
  • Games: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (May 23rd) and Pokemon SoulSilver (continuous)

It does seem kinda front-loaded, with Google I/O, E3, and SMG2 (and school getting out) all happening within a month from now, however as the summer wears on I want to be spending more and more time outdoors. I think I’ll be a bit handicapped in the area until I finish Project Gforum Version 3, but after that’s finished I should have the summer completely to myself. There’s the issue of getting a driver’s license, but after that I’m taking the world by storm.

I want the perfect summer, and I’m going to grab it with my own two hands. And I won’t let anything stop me.

    Sounds like a nice summer.

    The Summer of Steph includes:

    - Getting a car
    - Getting promoted
    - Trying to get into college
    - Two vacations
    - And making plans for the future

Two vacations? Damn that already sounds better than what I have lined up!

  • Steph

Yeah, I really need these vacations. For so many reasons.

    I wouldn’t doubt it. :P
