2010 Resolutions

Let’s get right down to it.

  • Release my first Android game.
  • Get my backlog of unbeaten games down to 15%.
  • Get a C+ or higher in all my courses (Spring and Fall semesters both.)
  • Get a job (by any means necessary.)
  • Go to the beach twice or more this Summer.
  • Cut back on launching websites and redesigns and focus more on what I’ve already made. Addendum: No new design for this blog until 2012 at the earliest. Maybe late 2011 if I get antsy.
  • Become a stronger and more independent person, emotionally and financially.
  • Continue updating this blog monthly, but aim for twice a month or more.

That’s pretty much it, and they’re all pretty self-explanatory. Some are leftovers from last-year, because I hate leaving business unfinished. I want 2010 to be a good year, and I’m going to try to make it that way. Yeah, life’s not always perfect, but I think if I can try and remain positive, it’ll all come together.

I hope.

    Good luck with those.

So far my resolutions seem to be… Fixing everyone’s fucking problems.

I wanted to be in college by now… I wanted to be in the process of getting a new car… I wanted to get a new cello with my tax money… I wanted a promotion. So far, only the promotion seems to be happening. Everything else got destroyed before the year even began. Hope things turn out better for you.

If you want something for yourself, take it by the horns.

Easier said than done, of course…

  • Steph

Yeah, I’ve managed to get myself into some sort of hell hole by tripping into another person’s hell. As a human, I can only do so much before I have to take the steps needed for myself.

I took those steps today. It’s causing issues… but those a personal. No need to fill the internet with the echos of my whining.

True. But I hope whatever happens you get it sorted out. I’ve found that even if one tiny thing constantly annoys you, it really drags your whole life down. So if you have a larger issue doing the same it’s truly got to suck.

    Imagine if everything fell apart.

That’s what’s going on right now.

That really sucks. :/ Sorry to hear that. Wish I could help.

  • Steph

    Eh, thanks.

    Don’t you act so blasé when I’m trying to console you. :frown;

  • Steph

I just know there’s people in the world who have it worse than me, so I feel bad for bitching.

If it’s a legitimate problem then you have a right to complain. Sometimes complaining is the only way to get help and support (the squeaky wheel gets the grease.)

  • Steph

Either that or pulling the same shit and going cold enough not to care that there’s blood on your hands.

  • http://www.andrewrabon.com/ Andrew

    …I don’t know what that means. :confused;

  • Steph

In other words… someone does something to you.

You basically do the same thing to save yourself, but you’ve grown to despise the situation so much that you don’t really care how the other people feel.

You really do sound down. :(

Hope you cheer up soon. Not much I can do across the net.

  • Steph

Eh, I’m working on it. It’ll be awhile though, but no worries.
