Christmas Eve in Sarajevo 12/24

Right now it is 10:30 PM on Christmas Eve 2007. Operation: Stocking Stuffer 2007 was a success, with my younger sister and father joining in. All of us wore Winter or Santa hats, it was really neat. I hope this becomes a tradition; that no matter where she moves, at least one of us will show up to fill her stocking each year.

As I said in that entry, Mom usually deposits our [filled] stockings before Christmas morning, and I have just emptied mine. I got the normal array of stuff, mostly candy, except this year I haven’t got any personal hygiene sets… probably because when we were exchanging gifts tonight, my younger sister saved my parents/Santa the trouble by giving me an Axe set… I think my family may be trying to tell me something. *Sniffs self* In any case I accidentally used the body wash from that set as shampoo earlier… Washed that out of my head as soon as I realized what I’d done.

She also gave me the Spider-Man DVD Trilogy. Hah! Take that Sony! I don’t have to buy a Blu-ray player to watch the trilogy! =3

Spider-Man Trilogy

I watched Spider-Man 3 right afterwards and on a second viewing, I stand behind my grade of B-, but if forced to re-review it, I’d probably call it a C/C+ film. It had its heart in the right place, at least.

Oh, in my stocking I got a $25 Amazon gift card! Dang if I was ever excited. I have wasted no time in using it, and while this entry was being written, I ordered Batman: Face the Face, Batman: Blind Justice, and Ouran HSHC Volume 3. Seems like a Batman and Ouran time, no? Batman: Dark Victory and the first volume of Ouran should be arriving this Saturday, with the second volume arriving shortly afterwards.

The song in the title of this entry is my favorite song ever, learn it well. Carol of the Bells is my favorite Christmas carol, and I tend to celebrate Christmas year-round so it is very important to me. (Obviously, or this blog, a very important part of who I am, wouldn’t be named after it.) Plus I think the Trans-Siberian Orchestra‘s rendition is definitely the very-best. They allow you to download it here for free, and I highly encourage you to do so. Consider it a gift for me, or a gift from me, whichever you choose. Just listen to the single-most important track of music to ever shape my life.
