Excitement Builds

Nov 26, 2006

Two posts in one month?!?! *Head Explodes* It’s not normally a convention, true, but I feel I have more time and material to write about during autumn and winter.

But before anything, I want you to take a look at the top of your browser window, just below the address bar. Do you see something? No? Good! I have successfully removed the Blogger Navbar as of this post. There are still two things I need to tweak: next time it snows I’m taking a higher-resolution shot and saving it as a better format for the banner, and I still need to fix this bug with the comments. I believe it has something to do with the way Blogger Beta accepts and stores comments, or it could use an updated version of CSS. I have a firm, firm grip on Blogger Beta, and I’ll definitely try and get the comment system working soon.

So, I’ve had a week to play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Red Steel, and Wii Sports. Zelda is definitely huge and with more than thirty hours logged in to it, I’ve started to uncover the main plot. I’m stuck at Snowpeak, trying to move three ice blocks onto a switch. I’ll brainstorm ways to solve it tomorrow. After uncovering some “moves” in Red Steel, I’m delighted to say that this is definitely a fun game and I hope Ubisoft either releases a patch to download when they get their hands on Nintendo’s WiFi libraries so I can “pwn” over the internet (I’d pay!), or release Red Steel 2. I can definitely see a cult following develop for this game, and I’d surely be among the ranks. Wii Sports is… Wii Sports! It’s sort of a one-sided party game, so my opinion hasn’t changed that much. My younger sister, my older sister’s kilt-wearing boyfriend, and I all played it Thanksgiving, as well as Red Steel. I’ll force myself to play Final Fantasy 3 tomorrow, but whatever.

I hope there are some more days off until Christmas break, because I need it, yet can’t miss more than a day at most. Speaking of Christmas, it completely caught me off-guard this year. I haven’t even put up decorations or made a countdown-calendar. Maybe this weekend…
