Shell Shock
Sep 24, 2006
School started. Without the “buffer period,” I was basically launched into what I call the “Zombie Zone.” The “buffer period” was when I was getting acquainted with the school, meeting new people, sticking by old ones. The Zombie Zone is when school become boring, monotonous, and taxing. When I “revert.” Keep in mind that this happened in February last year, which means it’s not a good thing that I’ve already smacked face-first into it this early.
However, I also have the advantage of syncing up perfectly with school this time. I am making a bigger push this year for outer-school events. It is really on a thin line whether this year will be adequate or not.
In other news, my free online Christmas role-playing Polar Nights is in Open Beta. Everything you need should be right there on the site. Still dwelling on the Christmas subject, (this blog’s name is after a Christmas song after all), I am in the pre-writing stages of my book Nightfall Noel. I want this book to be finished by Christmas, but, eh. Things never work out like that for me anyways, (Polar Nights, much to my great surprise, is actually moving along on schedule. Go figure.)
Wii comes out November 19th. Whether I’m here or in New Hampshire, (long story), I will definitely be there.
October will be torture; November through January I will definitely see less of the Zombie Zone. I can’t make any promises, though. One thing I can promise: There will be a lot of changes this year. Count on it.
